Description |
This software was packaged with a book
titled "Getting Started in the Computerized Medical Office" by Cindy Correa. The
book includes exercises that worked with this application, thereby giving the users
a real-world experience of working with a database application. To facilitate that
objective, the user interface was designed to enhance learning using a structured,
modular and step-by-step approach to each subject in the book.

- A fully functional database that gives a reader hands-on training in medical billing by working the step-by-step examples and exercises
- Automatically re-bills secondary & tertiary insurance carriers covered through spouses & parents
- Feedback to users can be turned on or off when needed
- Logging of users activities can be turned on or off when needed
- A standalone version is used for distribution with the book
- A networkable version is available for class room and lab environments
- Automatically detects login by an instructor and provides access to the Instructors Panel
- The Instructors Panel provides access to many features, such as creating classes and student accounts
- Each student's progress can be monitored from the Instructors Panel
- The Instructors Panel also allows access to the data of the exercises done by the students
- Uses one code base for multiple applications
